Invite you to come learn about Ka Welina Network!
Ka Welina Network is a group of Maoli hosts who are looking at Hawai‘i “tourism” in a different way. We focus on Maoli communities, values, and goals, and not on growth, corporate profits or staged tourism experiences. We’re seeking to develop healthy communities that may choose to share our culture with visitors in a way that benefits and sustains all of us – and will perpetuate our traditions, strengthen our communities, and protect our sacred sites.
At this gathering, you will:
• Meet the current host communities
• Learn about the background of Ka Welina Network
• Find out about how to get involved
Please register in advance for the ‘Aha ‘Ike. You can call 808-328-8721, email Ana Currie, or register online.
